This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Isla Labs Technologies Inc. (“Isla Labs,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) — a technology service provider and smart-contract innovator building open-source, non-custodial, and experimental tools for on-chain markets — collects, uses, and shares data in connection with the website-hosted user interface located at https://app.highpotential.io (the “Interface” or “App”) and any other Isla Labs sites, applications, or services that link to this Policy (together with the Interface, the “Products”). Your use of the Products is subject to this Policy as well as our Terms of Use.
As used in our Terms of Use and this Policy, “HighPotential” refers to the on-chain markets, player vaults, and related smart-contract systems accessible through the Interface (collectively, the “Protocol”). The Interface is distinct from the Protocol. Isla Labs provides the Interface as a thin UI connecting users to on-chain systems; Isla Labs does not control the Protocol on any blockchain network.
High-Level Summary
- Isla Labs Technologies Inc. is a Delaware corporation and product studio that operates the Interface at app.highpotential.io among other experimental tools.
- The Protocol (HighPotential on-chain markets, vaults, and related smart contracts) is distinct from the Interface and is not controlled by Isla Labs. The Interface is one, but not the exclusive, means of accessing the Protocol.
- Isla Labs does not collect and store personal data such as your first name, last name, street address, date of birth, or IP address in connection with ordinary use of the Products.
- If you sign in with email through Coinbase Developer Platform (“CDP”), that email is processed by CDP for authentication and smart-wallet management. Isla Labs does not store your email on Isla Labs servers used by the Interface and does not attempt to link your email address to your wallet address, IP address, or other personal data.
- Isla Labs collects non-identifiable or limited data such as public on-chain data and limited off-chain technical data (for example, device type or browser version) to operate and improve the Products — not to track users for advertising.
- Users are empowered to explore client-side privacy techniques and tools. Material changes to privacy practices will be reflected in an updated Policy.
Data We Collect
Privacy is central to how we build the Products. We aspire to be transparent about what little data we collect. We do not maintain traditional user profiles on Isla Labs servers, and we do not collect and store personal data such as your name or internet protocol (“IP”) address in connection with ordinary Interface use. When you interact with the Products, we may collect or access:
- Publicly available blockchain data. When you connect a non-custodial wallet or smart account to the Interface, we may collect and log your publicly available blockchain address to provide Interface features and understand aggregate use of the Products. Blockchain addresses are public data; by themselves they are not personally identifying. On-chain activity involving the Protocol is public by nature and is not controlled by Isla Labs.
- Information from localStorage and similar technologies. We and our service providers may access information from localStorage, cookies, or similar technologies as needed to operate the Interface across sessions (for example, remembering Interface preferences). Information from these technologies may include browser type, operating system, device or browser language, and other limited device information. We do not currently use third-party product analytics or advertising cookies.
- Authentication data processed by CDP. If you use email one-time-passcode sign-in, OAuth, or related CDP flows, CDP processes the credentials and wallet lifecycle data needed to create and manage your self-custodial smart wallet. That processing is governed by Coinbase’s applicable terms and privacy policy. Isla Labs does not store your email on Isla Labs servers used by the Interface.
- Correspondence. If you contact us directly (for example, by email or another support channel), we will receive the communications and information you choose to provide.
- Information you specifically provide. If you specifically provide us information for a stated purpose, we may use it for that purpose. You do not need to provide Isla Labs with personal data to use the Interface beyond what your chosen wallet provider requires.
How We Use Data
We use the data we collect in accordance with your instructions, including any applicable terms in our Terms of Use, and as required by law. We may use data for:
- Providing the Products. To provide, maintain, customize, and improve the Interface and related features, including fetching trading and staking route suggestions and displaying informational market data about Protocol activity.
- Customer support. To respond to inquiries about the Products.
- Safety and security. To protect against, investigate, and help stop fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; address security risks; enforce our agreements; and protect users and the Company.
- Legal compliance. As needed or requested by regulators, government entities, and law enforcement to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Aggregated data. To compile aggregated or de-identified data that helps us learn how the Products are used and where we can improve the experience.
Third-Party APIs and Services
The Interface uses third-party APIs and infrastructure so that you can connect a wallet, read chain state, and prepare transactions with the Protocol and related on-chain systems. These services may process limited technical data — such as wallet addresses, request parameters, and device or browser metadata — to return a response. Execution and settlement still occur on-chain through your self-custodial wallet. Isla Labs does not custody assets and does not execute, clear, or settle trades on your behalf.
This app uses the following third-party APIs:
- Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) — for Smart Wallet management, including authentication flows (such as email one-time passcodes), account-abstraction wallet creation, and related signing infrastructure. Wallet security, key management, and any wallet screening or compliance checks performed in connection with CDP are managed by Coinbase / CDP under their terms and privacy policy, not by Isla Labs.
- Isla Labs Interface API (api.highpotential.io) — for fetching efficient trading and staking routes, quotes, market metadata, and similar Interface responses. This is Isla Labs-operated application infrastructure that supports the Interface; it is not the Protocol, does not manage the Protocol, and does not custody assets or execute trades on your behalf.
- Alchemy — for blockchain RPC access used to read chain state and broadcast transactions you approve from your wallet.
The Interface may also surface or interact with independent on-chain protocols and infrastructure (for example, Uniswap v4 liquidity pools and Doppler market-launch contracts) and may include links to third-party sites. Those parties may collect information under their own policies. Inclusion of a third-party service does not imply endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
Third-party wallets and CDP-managed smart wallets are not maintained by Isla Labs. Your use of those wallets is governed by the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policy. We expressly disclaim liability for actions arising from your use of third-party wallet providers, including their use or disclosure of personal information.
Security
We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards to help protect data from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Transmission via the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information about you. You are responsible for all of your activity on the Products, including the security of your blockchain addresses, wallets, passkeys, recovery methods, and cryptographic credentials.
Because Protocol activity occurs on public blockchains, Isla Labs cannot delete, reverse, or obscure confirmed on-chain transactions or smart-contract state.
Age Requirements
The Products are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly receive personal information from children. If you believe we have received personal information about a person under the age of 18, please contact us at contact@islalabs.co.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and may notify you via the Products. Your continued use of the Products after an update becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
